Victorian homes and ancient trees make an idyllic setting in the town of Darling. The homestead of Langfontein is the original farm on which Darling was founded in 1853, and is traditionally known for its spectacular wildflowers.

The Darling Club  offers a wide variety of sport such as Golf, Bowls, Netball, Tennis, Ghymkana and Cricket, and hosts prestigious annual events like the Darling Wild Flower Show, Nissan Rally, WP Ghymkana Championships and Boland Bowls Championships. It is also the perfect venue for weddings, conferences and other social functions.

Directions from Cape Town to Darling Golf Club, travel on the West Coast Road and take the right turning to Darling (left turn will go to Ysterfontein). Turn left into main road in Darling and continue on this road until you are almost going out of Darling where you will see a sign to the sports club. Turn left at this sign and follow the gravel road which leads to the golf club.

The Clanwilliam Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in a beautiful area, with stunning views of the Cederberg Mountain range.

Clanwilliam town is located at the foot of the Cederberg Mountains in a little hamlet, and it is about two hours’ drive from Cape Town. Regarded as the only town in the world where rooibos is planted and cultivated, it is also famous for its locally made veldskoens or leather shoes. Activities include rock art, bird-watching, historical buildings, the scenic beauty of the flowers in “Flower Season”, as well as water sports, and various 4×4 routes and hiking trails are available in the area.

Ceres is located in a beautiful part of the world, and named after the Goddess of Fertility. The Caledon Golf Club is located in Ian Toerien Street, Caledon, and was designed by its members, in 1961.

Directions to the Caledon Golf Club is, from Cape Town travel on the N2, take the 2nd turn-off to Caledon, and turn right into the main road of Caledon. Drive right through Caledon, cross the bridge and there will be a sign to Caledon/Bredasdorp. Turn left after the silo’s (SA Maltsers) and then follow the signs and turn right into the golf club.
