The Oppenheimer Park Golf Club is situated in a tranquil area 7 km south east of Welkom, and the facilities include function rooms to accommodate from 10 to 130 people, bar facilities, and catering for breakfasts, lunches, restaurant menu, weddings, birthday parties, snack platters etc. There are mens and ladies changerooms and locker rooms.

The driving range at Pecanwood Golf Club is always in superb condition, and will aid you in improving your consistency with your irons and woods. It comprises five greens that are strategically placed so you can practice your accuracy and distance control using your full set of clubs.

Pecanwood’s world class teaching academy is run by Craig La Vita who was voted “Number 1 P.G.A teaching professional in South Africa 2003/04. Max Birkenhead, the first Lady Teaching Professional, has joined Craig and she brings new ideas and dynamics into the operation.
