Willowmore, established in 1862 on the farm Willow, is only 85km from Plettenberg Bay and 94km from Knysna. Willowmore has been considered as the northern gateway to the Baviaanskloof, offering the visitor numerous places of interest and exceptionally friendly people.

The West Bank Golf Club, which celebrated its centenary in October 2007, has an 18-hole, silver ranked golf course. When playing on this beautiful course one will be able to see the sea from every tee. East London enjoys a moderate climate, with few extremes in temperature, and is generally sunny and pleasant, ideal for a game of golf.

Directions to the West Bank Golf Club, is travel from the centre of town on Oxford Street towards the sea until you turn left into Fleet Street, which becomes Settlers Way, continue over the bridge (Buffalo River). Take the first left and continue on this road, which becomes Bank Road, until you get the signs for the golf club.
