The Swartklip Golf Club is a 9-hole course with a driving range and pro shop, located in Bierspruit near the dam area.

A unique feature of Limpopo province is that it shares international borders with three countries: Botswana to the west and north-west, Zimbabwe to the north, and Mozambique to the east. Limpopo is the link between South Africa and countries further afield in sub-Saharan Africa.

The Soutpansberg Golf Club is one of the best 9-hole courses in South Africa with beautiful trees and it is kept in excellent condition all year around. The club atmosphere is very friendly, with good facilities.

Directions to the Soutpansberg Golf Club, is travel from Johannesburg on the N1 to Polokwane, and take the Makhado (Louis Trichardt) turn-off. Pass two 4-way stops, and at the traffic circle turn left into Stubb Street, and carry on straight until you get Louis Trichardt High School. At the T-junction turn left into Anderson street, and at next 4-way stop turn right into Ruh Street. The  golf  club  is located on the corner of Hospital and Ruh Streets.

Rooiberg, situated between Bela Bela (Warmbaths) and Thabazimbi in Limpopo Province, was once the residence of employees of the Rooiberg Tin Mine, and when the mine closed down in the early 1990’s, a consortium purchased the it and started selling the houses to private buyers. The Rooiberg Golf Club is a 9-hole course near Rooiberg, with a total bushveld atmosphere, braai facilities, and the area is a bird watcher’s haven.

Directions to the Rooiberg Golf Club, is from Johannesburg take the N1 Pietersburg (Polokwane) highway and take the Bela Bela (Warmbaths) off-ramp. Go through Bela Bela onto the Koedoeskop/Thabazimbi Road. Take the second Rooiberg turn-off. Turn right and continue for 18km to the golf course.

The Polokwane Golf Club was founded in 1863, and was virtually a desert, but as the years progressed, so did the course. It was re-designed by Peter Matkovich, and it is now a silver rated golf course. Polokwane Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in South Africa designed in 1896, and is very proud to have Retief Goosen, 2001 U.S. Open Champion as a previous club professional.
