The  economy in the bushveld town of Zeerust consists of mixed farming and mining of minerals (lead and chrome). Attractions include the Kleinfontein Memorial, Kaditshwene Village Ruins, the Zeerust Museum, Marula Kop (an Iron Age settlement 50km north of Zeerust) and the Madikwe Game Reserve (90km north of Zeerust).

The Zeerust Country Club is a 9-hole course with a practice range and function facilities. Directions to the Zeerust Country Club is travel on the N1 to Pretoria and take the Polokwane turn-off and then take the left lane to the R4 Rustenburg. Travel through Swartruggens and Zeerust. Cross over the bridge and the golf course is on the left. Take the second turn-off to the right and drive straight to the golf club.

Wolmaransstad was founded in 1891, and is located in the valley of the Makwassie Stream. The town became an important stop on the old postal route between Johannesburg and Kimberley, and today it serves a large community and is an important diamond buying centre. Attractions include the Digger’s Diamond Tour and Thomas Leak House.

The Wolmaransstad Golf Club is an 9-hole course located in Union street, Wolmaransstad. Directions to the Wolmaransstad Golf Club, is travel from Johannesburg on the N1 towards Potchefstroom. Pass Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp, and continue to Wolmaransstad. Enter the town, cross over two 4-way stops and follow the signboards to the golf club which is on the left side in Union Street.

Vryburg is situated halfway between Kimberley and Mmabatho-Mafikeng, in a rich cattle-farming area. There are many outdoor activities to keep everyone busy in this rugged landscape, and the annual agricultural shows are very popular.

Directions to the Vryburg Golf Club 9-hole course, is travel on the N14 towards Ventersdorp, go past Lichtenburg, Delareyville and continue to Vryburg. Once in the town of Vryburg, turn left at the third set of traffic lights, continue two blocks down the road and the golf club is located in De Kock Street.

Ventersdorp, today, is at the centre of a large agricultural area.The enormous silos stand as proof of farming successes. All sport clubs and facilities are funded by private members. The Ventersdorp Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in Voortrekker Street.

Ventersdorp is located in the fertile Vaal River Valley, with four roads leading to the town. It is 110km from the Witwatersrand or Pretoria on the Tarlton-Ventersdorp road, 50km from Potchefstroom, 70km from Klerksdorp and 90km from Lichtenburg.

 Directions to the Ventersdorp Golf Club is travel on the N14 towards Krugersdorp. From Krugersdorp travel to Ventersdorp (about 1 hour), once in town follow the sign to the  golf club.

The town of Stella was named after the daughter of the owner of the farm Biesjesbult, which was often used for church gatherings in the early twenties, and the town is now widely known as host of the annual Cattle Festival, held in October.

The Stella Golf Club is located off Stella street, and is a 9-hole course, with a driving range. Birdwatching is a popular passtime in Stella, and accommodation is available at Leeuwbosch Lodge, which comprises 2 luxurious camps, also providing conference facilities that can accommodate up to 50 people. Stella, meaning ”Star”, is located on the R37 West of Delareyville.
