The Seasons Eco Golf Estate (formerly the Brits Golf Club) is a well established and challenging par 72 golf course (Soon to be upgraded by Matkovitch/Hayes). It is an active golf club with many events such as competitions and social golf days taking place throughout the year. 

The Golf Course is situated on the northern slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountains, and is the closest ‘bushveld’ golf course to Johannesburg, a mere 45 minutes from Sandton or Pretoria. The re-design of the existing course by Peter Matkovich will incorporate ‘islands’ and pockets of wilderness zones, a buffer strip of natural vegetation between the fairways and the housing estate, more lakes and water features will be added, and the natural habitat for fauna and flora will be improved and preserved.

The Schweizer Reineke Golf Club is a 9-hole course, located in Olivier Street, Schweizer Reineke.

Directions to Schweizer Reineke Golf Club from Johannesburg to Schweizer Reineke, is travel on the N12 through Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp. Take the Wolmaransstad turn-off to the right. In the town of Wolmaransstad turn right at the first street (a signboard to Schweizer Reineke), and once in Schweizer Reinkek, turn right at the third stop street (Shell Garage) and go over a bridge and a stop street. Pass the school on the left hand onto a gravel road and follow the signs to the golf club.

The town of Sannieshof lies in a large maize producing region, and an important nearby attraction is the Barberspan Dam about 30 km west of town. It is ecologically important since it is a large pan of permanent water in an area of seasonal pans and vleis, and is particularly important for waterfowl. Together with the surrounding nature reserve, it holds over 320 species of birds.

Directions to Sannieshof Golf Club from Johannesburg, is travel on the N14 to Ventersdorp, go past Lichtenberg and travel straight into Sannieshof. As you exit the town of Sannieshof the golf club is on the right hand side, in Spoor Street.

The Rustenburg Golf Club provides an 18-hole, bushveld-style golf course, recently over seeded with bent grass, giving it an excellent putting surface all year round. It is a very underrated golf course with a fantastic atmosphere.

Travel directions to the Rustenburg Golf Club, is from Johannesburg take the N1 to Polokwane (Pietersburg). Just past Pretoria, after the Zambezi turn-off, take the N4 to Rustenburg. Keep going past 3 toll gates. When approaching Rustenburg, the first turn-off is the Waterfall Mall off ramp which you ignore, go over the hill and ignore the next turn-off called Helen Joseph Drive. Take the next off-ramp called Rustenburg Kloof. At the Stop turn right pass underneath the highway. At the next stop turn right. Keep going straight. The road bends to the right. Take the first slipstream to the left into Bethlehem drive. Just past the church on the left is the entrance to Rustenburg golf club.

The Reivilo Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in the town of Reivilo, which was established in 1883 as a Dutch Reformed Church parish. A tourist attraction near Reivilo is the Taung Heritage Site. Reivelo is 55km from Taung and 100km from Vryburg.

Directions to Reivilo Golf Club, is travel from Johannesburg on the N14 to Vryburg. After Vryburg turn onto the N18 towards Kimberley. At Taung turn right to Reivilo town, once in town turn right at the T-junction carry on straight through the town, and before you exit the town, turn left to the golf club.
