The Rossmund Golf Course is an all-turfed course, originally built 25 years ago by Rössing Uranium Limited. The first 9 holes were designed by Robert Trent-Jones and the second 9, established about 10 years later, were designed by Bill Kerr. The golf course was later taken over by private enterprise, as it remains today.

A round of golf at Rossmund is a unique experience, because this course located in the Namib Desert in Namibia, is one of 5 registered all-grass desert golf courses in the world. The greens are of particularly high quality.

The Mthatha Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course, and tennis and squash courts. The golf course is a relatively forgiving one but it still provides a fair challenge to the lower handicap golfer.

Directions to the Mthatha Country Club is from East London, take the N2 towards Mthatha, take Nelson Mandela Drive, turn left at the first traffic light after the Mthatha General Hospital and then first right into Delville Road and the club is on the left hand side.

The ancestral home of Nelson Mandela is some 30 km outside Mthatha on the N2 East London, and other activities include fly fishing for trout and plentiful salt water fly fishing along the nearby Wild Coast.

Blair Athol is an 18-hole Gary Player Signature design course that promises to be truly spectacular. Having had his home on the Blair Atholl Estate for almost 25 years, Gary Player is obviously passionate about the championship golf course. The Crocodile River that meanders adjacent to some of the holes, hosts a large community of different sedges and water plants that supports and abundance of bird life. Blair Athol one of the finest golf courses in South Africa, as well as throughout the world.

Belville Golf Club:

The Belville Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole course situated in the magnificent Welgemoed Valley, and is therefore hardly affected by the local prevailing winds. The course is fairly challenging with a few water hazards and well-placed bunkers, but always green and lush, and never dry. It has a modern clubhouse in a prime location, with panoramic views of the course and mountains in the distance. From Cape Town travel on the N1, take Jip de Jager Drive turn-off, the club on right hand side.

The Bell Rosen Guest House is 4 star accommodation in Bellville, ideally situated overlooking the 18-course golf course, and providing easy access to Cape Town, Table Mountain, Stellenbosch and the Wine Routes. Accommodation consists of standard, luxury and executive suites with private bathroom, and designed for the discerning traveller.
