The Volksrust Golf Club is a 9-hole course with a pro shop, function facilities and driving range, and it is located in South Street. Volksrust became a municipality in 1904, is the commercial centre of a district of which the main products are maize, wool, sorghum, sunflower seed, beef and dairy.

Directions to the Volksrust Golf Club from Ermelo, is travel on the N11 towards Volksrust, through the town until you get to the sign which shows the sports ground, follow the signs and you will drive straight into the golf club which is in South Street.

The Standerton Country Club is a 9-hole course with a pro shop, driving range and function facilities.

Standerton was named after the owner of the farm on which the town was established, and the Vaal River is one of South Africa’s largest rivers, that flows through the town. The Vaal River is a fisherman’s dream and also provide boating and other aquatic sports facilities, the main reasons why people will travel long distances to Standerton.

Western Mpumalanga is the main agricultural centre for the province, specialising in cattle, dairy, maize and groundnuts. Graceland Casino is 65 km from Standerton which makes it easy to visit if you are staying over in Standerton.

The Skukuza Golf Course is a blue ranked, 9-hole (18-tee) course located in the world-renowned Kruger National Park, on the outskirts of Skukuza Rest Camp. The  wildlife sanctuary surrounding the golf course is home to the Big Five, a huge variety of birds and countless animals.

The Skukuza Golf Course was built in 1972 as a recreational facility for the Skukuza personnel, and is now available to visitors to the Kruger National Park. This golf course is designed for all levels of golfers.
