Travel on the N3 highway towards Pietermaritzburg, take the Cato Ridge off-ramp and turn left towards the town. Follow road and turn left at first stop, leads to Cato Ridge Country Club on your right.
Cato Ridge town is situated halfway between Pietermaritzburg and Durban and is the best setting off point for the Valley of 1000 Hills that forms around the Mngeni River. Cato Ridge is associated with the annual running of the world famous Comrades Marathon between Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
