The Hillside Golf Club is one of the top 9-hole courses (blue ranked) in South Africa, located in Pretoria North.

Directions to the Hillside Golf Club from Johannesburg, is take the N1 north and stay on the Polokwane Road. Take the N4 Rustenburg Toll Road. Take the Pretoria/Soshanguve off-ramp and go left towards Pretoria. Turn left at the Akasia /Brits off-ramp. At the traffic light turn left into Brits road. Go through 4 sets of traffic lights and the club is on the right.

The Cullinan Golf Course is a blue ranked course, located in a lovely park land layout between the koppies in the bushveld, and is rated as one of the best 9-hole courses in the country. The club offers a very friendly atmosphere with a spacious clubhouse, a terrace and a restaurant/bar with a big screen tv, and a  well-stocked pro shop.

Directions to the Cullinan Golf Club from Johannesburg, is take the N1 North Pretoria to Pietersburg (Polokwane) and then turn onto the N4 to Witbank. Exit Pretoria and take the Cullinan/Rayton off-ramp approximately 20km outside Pretoria. Turn left and carry on through Rayton towards Cullinan.

The Kirkwood Golf Club is an excellent, blue ranked, 9-hole golf course in Kirkwood, in the picturesque Sundays River Valley. Nearby activities include visiting the Addo National Elephant Park and the famous Cheetah Breeding Camp.

Directions to Kirkwood Golf Club from Port Elizabeth, is continue on the R75 towards Graaff-Reinet. Take the Kirkwood turn off, cross the main road, and after about 800m turn right over the canal, turn left into Uye Road, continue for 800m and you will find the golf club.

Cathedral Peak Golf Club is an immaculate, blue ranked 9-hole golf course located on the Cathedral Peak Hotel property, offering alternate tees for an 18-hole game. Facilities at the club house include rest rooms, a lounge area, pub and a terrace with breathtaking mountain views.

Directions to the Cathedral Peak Golf Hotel & Golf Club, is follow the N3 from Johannesburg to Harrismith. Remain on N3 (by-passing Harrismith), pass the Engen “Bergview” One Stop. Approximately 5km from the Engen One Stop, take the off-ramp for Bloemfontein/Phuthaditjiaba (N5) and head towards Bethlehem. Follow this road until you see a left turn-off Bergville/Phuthaditjiaba (R712). Turn left on the R712 and follow the road until you turn left at the Bergville (R74) turn-off. This road takes you pass the Sterkfontein Dam, down Oliviershoek Pass, to Bergville and turn right at the Cathedral Peak sign. There will be another right turn marked Cathedral Peak. This road leads to the Cathedral Peak Hotel and golf course. (Travel for approximately 30km on this road).
