The Royal Oak Country Club is a lovely woodlands type, 18 hole course with a very friendly club set-up, with practice facilities and a pro shop.

Directions to the Royal Oak Country Club, is take the N12 East towards Witbank. About 20km along, take the Snake Road off-ramp and turn right under the freeway. Carry straight on Snake Road, and at the fourth traffic light turn left into Main Reef Road (about 5km)following the road until the traffic circle (Main Reef Road becomes Prince George Avenue), continue straight on Prince George Avenue to the entrance of Brakpan. The golf course is about 500 metres from the circle on the right.

Wesselsbron Golf Club is a 9-hole course with a bar, restaurant and function facilities, located in Voortrekker street.

Directions to the Wesselsbron Golf Club is take the N1 south from Johannesburg passing Kroonstad, then take the road to Welkom. About 10km before Welkom, turn right on the Odendaalsrus road and travel about 45km to Wesselsbron, and the golf club is located on Voortrekker road.

The town of Vrede is situated in the North-Eastern Free State about 20km east of the N3, close to the Mpumalanga border. It is a scenic little town with an imposing sandstone church, surrounded by a large farming district. Vrede was so named after a dispute between the the founding fathers about its name was settled amicably (“in peace”). The town was established in 1863 by European landowners of this area.

The Vrede Golf Club is a 9-hole course located on the Volksrust road, Free State, with a bar and restaurant , and function facilities. Directions to Vrede Golf Club, is travel from Johannesburg on the N3 to Villiers. At Villiers (R103) take the road to Warden. Travel for about 64km and turn left to Newcastle and then travel for about 16km to Vrede. Once in the town of Vrede travel in the direction of the Mtunzini Resort, where the golf course is located.

The Kempton Park Golf Club is an 18-hole course with a driving range, pro shop and function facilities, located in Spartan, Kempton Park.

Directions to the Kempton Park Golf Club, is travelfrom Johannesburg and take the airport highway (R21), then take the R59 off-ramp (Kempton Park/Barbara Road). Turn left at the traffic light, which is in the direction of Croydon and turn right at the next traffic light into Brabazon Road. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left (there will be a Caltex garage on the left and a BMW dealership on the right). Turn right into Isando Road and at the first set of traffic lights turn right into Chestnut Street. Cross over 4 sets of traffic lights and the golf club will be 200m down the road on the right, in Green Avenue.
