The Knysna Golf Club is located on the eastern shores of the tranquil Knysna estuary, one of the most beautiful regions of South Africa, and boasts holes that are below sea level. Nestled on the shores of the Knysna Lagoon, the golf course meanders along tidal pools and magnificent indigenous trees on a level terrain that appears deceptively easy, but is quite challenging to golfers of all standards. At the golf course you will find an abundance of birdlife - both sea and fresh water birds, raptors and forest birds.

Heidelberg is regarded as the western gateway to the Garden Route, and is located midway between the towns of Riversdale and Swellendam on the N2, about 280 km from Cape Town. Set on the banks of the Duiwenhoks River, with the Langeberg peaks as a  dramatic backdrop, Heidelberg is a nature lover’s paradise. Activities include golf at the 9-hole course at Heidelberg Golf Club, hiking (Bosbok Hiking Trail), and seasonal whale watching at San Sebastian Bay, Witsand, only a short distance away.

Directions to the Heidelberg Golf Club, is travel south west from Mossel Bay on the N2 towards Heidelberg, going passed Albertinia and Riverdale. Before entering the town of Heidelberg turn right at the sign to the golf club, turn right again and the club is on the left hand side.

The George Golf course is a beautifully manicured, 18 hole course nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua mountains, in the heart of the Garden Route. George Golf Club is among the oldest courses in the country. Golfing equipment is for sale in the pro-shop, lessons may be arranged with the resident golf professional, and golf clubs/trolleys may be hired from the pro-shop. Clubhouse facilities include change rooms with showers for men and women, a halfway house offering light meals, a bar and a lounge with a verandah, which has a spectacular outlook over the course.
