Pilgrims Rest is a tiny, picturesque town frequently visited for its beauty and historical significance as a former Gold Rush town. The blue ranked, 9-hole golf course is located just off the R533, west of the village. The course is in a stunning, forested setting with mountains all around, and the old clubhouse boasts a fine pub and dining facility with plenty of atmosphere.
Directions to the Pilgrims Rest Golf Club is, from Johannesburg/Pretoria travel on the N4 to Machadadorp. At Machadadorp take the R36 to Lydenburg and then turn-off to Pilgrims Rest on the R533. Once in the town of Pilgrims Rest continue on the Beukesluck Road which leads to the golf club.
