The Rustenburg Golf Club provides an 18-hole, bushveld-style golf course, recently over seeded with bent grass, giving it an excellent putting surface all year round. It is a very underrated golf course with a fantastic atmosphere.

Travel directions to the Rustenburg Golf Club, is from Johannesburg take the N1 to Polokwane (Pietersburg). Just past Pretoria, after the Zambezi turn-off, take the N4 to Rustenburg. Keep going past 3 toll gates. When approaching Rustenburg, the first turn-off is the Waterfall Mall off ramp which you ignore, go over the hill and ignore the next turn-off called Helen Joseph Drive. Take the next off-ramp called Rustenburg Kloof. At the Stop turn right pass underneath the highway. At the next stop turn right. Keep going straight. The road bends to the right. Take the first slipstream to the left into Bethlehem drive. Just past the church on the left is the entrance to Rustenburg golf club.

Germiston Golf Club was established in 1930 and is located near the Rand Airport. It is a well-manicured, silver ranked course that affords some challenging holes in a beautiful setting, right next to Victoria Lake. Directions from the city centre, take the road out of George heading towards Oudtshoorn, and the George Golf Course is in CJ Langenhoven Road on the left hand side right next to the rugby stadium and the George Hospital.

Germiston is mainly a commercial and industrial city, with activities like the East Rand Shopping Mall located in the suburb of Bedfordview, sailing and picnics at the Germiston Lake, and visiting the Rondebult Bird Sanctuary, a rare wetland area and home to many birds and some mammals, such as zebra, blesbok, reedbuck.

The Mogol Golf Club is a high quality facility nestled in the Limpopo Valley in the town of Lephalale (Ellisras), an area known for its huge Marula Trees. There is a wide variety of sporting activities for Members of the Mogol Club like horse-riding, swimming, squash, tennis and golf on the silver ranked Mogol golf course that is widely known for being an excellent winter course.

Directions from Johannesburg, take the N1 North to Pietersburg (Polokwane), go through the Kranskop Toll Plaza and go via Nylstroom and Vaalwater and the golf club is in George Wells Street, Lephalale (Ellisras). The club is clearly sign-posted from Vaalwater.
