St Francis Bay Golf Club is renowned for its warm hospitality and great club spirit, which has been the essence of the club over the years. St Francis Bay Golf Club dates back to 1975 when Leighton Hulett opened a 9-hole private golf course, and today it is a silver ranked, 18-hole coastal golf course that compares favourably with the best courses in the Cape. The course is kept in an excellent condition throughout the year.
Other activities in and around St Francis Bay include wonderful beaches, safe swimming, surfing, windsurfing, sun-tanning, body boarding, wave skiing, a small boat harbour for deep sea fishing, game fishing and sailing. The Kromme River and marinas provides for water-skiing, river fishing and swimming.

Tzaneen Country Club is a silver ranked, 18-hole golf course, located about 10km outside Tzaneen, adjacent to the Tzaneen/Modjadjiskloof road. The course is reputed to be one of the fairest tests of golf around and should have the high and low handicappers all urging to book the next round. Tzaneen Country Club is one of the most beautiful courses in South Africa, with subtropical trees present around the course, and has hosted some major tournaments on the PGA winter tour.

The Bloemfontein Golf Club is an 18-hole, silver ranked course with a pro shop and driving range, located about 6 kilometres from the city centre, just off Maselspoort Road. Bloemfontein ‘City of Roses’ is the Capital City of the Free State, and is centrally located more or less in the middle of the Province, as well as in South Africa.
Directions to the Bloemfontein Golf Club, is travel from Johannesburg/Cape Town on the N1 towards Bloemfontein. From the N1 in Bloemfontein take the Andries Pretorius Street turn-off to the left. At the traffic circle go a quarter of the way around the circle into Rudolf Greyling Avenue, and continue going around this road (Bloemfontein City Slipway). Travel in and then turn left into Maselspoort Road, where the golf club is situated.

The Royal Port Alfred Golf Club is situated at Port Alfred on the coast, more or less halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London. The club was founded in 1907, and granted its ‘Royal’ prefix when the Prince of Wales visited in 1927. It is a true Links course set on rolling hills, with plenty of indigenous bush, game and wonderful sea views. Royal Port Alfred is a challenging and often windswept course, full of humps and hollows.
